2025 APPEAL: “Our Journey United in Hope” By supporting the Catholic Ministries Appeal, you are supporting many programs and ministries of the Diocese of Camden. These ministries serve the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of the hungry and challenged. When we support the Catholic Ministries Appeal, we shine a light of hope throughout the Catholic community of South Jersey. This year’s theme: “Our Journey United in Hope” connects to the Jubilee Year, themed “Pilgrims of Hope.” It reflects our commitment to walk this path together grounded in the hope and love that Christ gives us. In Spes Non Confudit* Pope Francis said, “During the Holy Year, we are called to be tangible signs of hope for those of our brothers and sisters who experience hardships of any kind.” Our brothers and sisters include the sick, the young, the poor, the elderly, and many others. By supporting the Catholic Ministries Appeal, we provide that tangible sign of hope. Every contribution helps us build a stronger Church renewed in hope. Donations can be dropped off or mailed to the Parish office or placed in the collection basket during each mass. Please make checks payable to South Jersey Ministries Appeal.

Welcome Visitors

Whether you are visiting for just a few days or considering us as your new church family you are most welcome at our parish. We’re located just off the Garden State Parkway exits 29 and 30 and just inland from the north end of Ocean City, NJ.

St. Joseph Regional School is a Pre-K Age 3 and Age 4 to Grade 8 school and is a great place to get a solid education and build Christian character.

St. Joseph’s mission is threefold – just like the Apostles – to love God, love others, and make disciples.

  • We love God through prayer and the sacraments.
  • We love Others through acceptance, support, and social justice programs.
  • We make Disciples by word and example.

Children are welcome at all of our masses and there is a “crying room” to the left as you enter the front door for emergencies. Families with small children should consider attending our Sunday 10AM mass commonly referred to as the children’s mass. On the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th Sundays at this mass they can attend our Children’s liturgy of the word. All of our Children’s Liturgy faculty are safe-environment trained.

Connecting with Christ and His Church

Learning the Faith for All Ages

Welcome to our family of faith. Our office seeks to help our children and their families discover God’s love for them through the knowledge of the life and love of Jesus Christ, through the witness of our catechists and aides, and the classroom activities that are planned for them.

We offer a variety of programs allowing for some flexibility in how your child is educated: a Monday night weekly program, a two-week summer program, and a catch-up program for older children who have had little or no religious education.

St. Joseph's Regional Catholic School

Saint Joseph Regional School is a Pre-Kindergarten Age 3 and Age 4 to Grade 8 school located in Somers Point, New Jersey. They are staffed by the Sisters of Saint Joseph and experienced lay teachers. Saint Joseph Regional School works hard to deliver the tangible elements of an exceptional educational experience, but what makes SJRS  unique is intangible. Parents and students feel a particular kind of energy when they walk through their doors: an openness and warmth that reflects their Catholic values and culture.  We invite you to discover what makes Saint Joseph Regional School so extraordinary: our curriculum; the diversity of our community; and above all, our mission: to shape the minds and the hearts of the people who will change the world.
