Thanks to the amazing generosity of our parish community, this year’s Lent-a-Hand Service Project was an incredible success. Over the two-week collection period, parishioners donated a tremendous variety of needed items, allowing us to support several local organizations and outreach ministries throughout our area.
Where Your Donations Went
Donations were distributed to the following organizations and ministries:
- Jersey Shore Women’s Center (Galloway) — baby items and diapers
- Marie Adelaide Center (Atlantic City) — blessing bags and supplies
- Atlantic City Rescue Mission — clothing items
- Fr. Benedict House (operated by the Franciscan Sisters of the Renewal, Atlantic City) — snacks, notebooks, and pens
The Knights of Columbus generously donated funds for the Fr. Benedict House to purchase balls and recreational equipment. Additional donations were also shared with veterans outreach efforts.
Volunteers Make It Happen
Many volunteers — including some of our teens — generously gave their time to collect, sort, carry, load, deliver, and assemble blessing bags and donations for distribution.
A Coat Drive Responds to an Urgent Need
When an urgent need for winter coats and clothing was identified, a supplemental coat drive was quickly organized. Several carloads of coats and winter items were delivered to the Atlantic City Rescue Mission.
Thank You
We are deeply grateful to everyone who donated, volunteered, and supported this project. Your kindness and generosity continue to reflect the love of Christ in our community.
