Weekly Prep Sessions (Grades K to 7)
Registration for our Weekly Religious Education classes is underway and will end in July, the summer before sessions begin.
Beginning September and ending in March, weekly PREP classes for Grades K-7 are held at:
St. Joseph Regional School,
11 Harbor Lane, Somers Point
Monday evenings from 5:45-7:00 pm

Completed forms and payment can be e-mailed or printed and dropped off at:

9:00 am to 3:30 pm Monday to Thursday or
9:00 am to Noon Friday
You can also use our after hours drop box at the top of the rear office stairs.
PREP families are expected to attend at least 6 Family Events throughout the year. Our full schedule of parish family events will be sent out before the end of the Summer. Additional events may be added throughout the year for your convienence, and notifications will be sent to all Summer and Weekly PREP families before each event with reminders.

8th Grade Prep
This same form (Prep_Registration_Form) is used to register for 8th grade as for the Weekly program but the attendance requirements are different.
Rather than attending Summer Prep or weekly Monday night classes, 8th Grade students participate in a series of meetings and workshops starting in October of until they receive the Sacrament of Confirmation in the Spring.

Families should use the Weekly Registration Form to sign up for 8th Grade PREP. The program includes:
- Parent Meeting in September
- Confirmation Enrollment Mass in October;
- 5 evening workshops for Confirmation Candidates where they will learn more about the Sacrament of Confirmation and our faith.
- The Confirmation retreat (this is mandatory and will need to be completed elsewhere if unable to attend St. Joseph’s retreat.)
- Attend (6) parish family events throughout their 8th grade year;
- At least ten (10+) hours of service.
