SUMMER PREP 25-26
Registration for our 2025-2026 Summer Religious Religious Education classes is underway and will end March 31, 2025.
Our Summer PREP for Grades 1-7 will open with a Teaching Family Mass for students and their families on Thursday, June 19th at 6:30 pm. Summer PREP Classes will be held from Wednesday, June 25th to Friday, June 27th and Monday, June 30th to Thursday, July 3rd from 9:00 am to 12:00 Noon at St. Joseph Regional School, 11 Harbor Lane in Somers Point. Completed forms and payment can be mailed to or dropped off at the Church Office, 606 Shore Road, Somers Point, NJ 08244, Monday to Thursday from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm or Friday until Noon. You can also use our after hours drop box at the top of the rear office steps.
PREP Families are expected to attend at least 6 Family Events throughout the year. Our full schedule of parish events for the upcoming year will be published in July of 2025. Additional events may be added throughout the year, and notifications will be sent to all PREP families before each event with reminders

8th Grade PREP
8th Grade students, rather than attending Summer Prep or weekly Monday night classes, participate in a series of meetings and workshops starting in October of 2024 until they receive the Sacrament of Confirmation in the Spring of 2025. See August Parent letter for dates and additional information.
Families should use the Weekly Registration Form to sign up for 8th Grade PREP. The program includes:
- Parent Meeting in September
- Confirmation Enrollment Mass in October;
- 4 or 5 evening workshops for Confirmation Candidates where they will learn more about the Sacrament of Confirmation and our faith.
- A Confirmation retreat;
- Attend (6) parish family events throughout their 8th grade year;
- At least ten (10+) hours of service. See 2024-25 7th & 8th Grade Service Opportunities for more information.
- Confirmation practice and Confirmation Mass in the Spring.

WEEKLY PREP 2025-2026
Weekly PREP Classes for Grades K-7 are held at St. Joseph Regional School, 11 Harbor Lane in Somers Point, on Monday evenings from 5:45 to 7:00 p.m. beginning in September, 2025.
