Catholic Resources (Updated Daily)
Click RESOURCES in the main menu above for a selection of videos and more. These will be especially helpful Sunday mornings when we would otherwise be at mass. There are now submenus when you click Resources. Please sign up for FORMED, an online Catholic content provider now available to our parish. It’s easy and costs you nothing. There are many good kid’s programs as well as solid Catholic programing for adults, bible studies, and more.
This video by Fr. Mike Schmitz contains a wonderful homily starting about 9min 30sec.
There are many more videos from Fr. Mike on our RESOURCES page. Just follow the Ascension Presents link.
We received the following email from Beth Dondero-Garvey, a teacher at St. Joseph’s Regional School. It lists a few more resources you might be interested in.</br>
Hi All,
I’ve been checking out Live Stream Mass opportunities and other faith based programs and discussions and wanted to share. The Diocese of Camden has a number of parishes with Live Stream daily and Sunday Masses. There are about 13 parishes and St. Elizabeth Ann Seton in Absecon is one of them. They are listed, along with times here: https://www.camdendiocese.org/live-stream-mass/.
Also, these are some great resources from Busted Halo. The Paulist Fathers also Live Stream Masses. Fr. Dave Dwyer has a good Facebook Live from 3/18: Keeping the Faith during the Time of Coronavirus. He answers questions, gives suggestions, etc. It’s a long video – about 44 min., but really good. I happen to like him. For us religion teachers, he does “Sacraments 101!”

I’m sure you all have your favorites for remote Mass, devotions, etc. There is daily and Sunday Mass from Bishop Barron’s chapel and other faith activities from Word on Fire. https://www.wordonfire.org/daily-mass/
In this time of social distancing I need community to help keep my faith strong, so I started my search. Anyone interested in further sharing, we can create an email group to share that doesn’t involve bombarding everyone’s email. If you are interested email me. There is so much out there.
Miss you and stay safe and strong.
Beth
